Blair Witch moment

Our Wise Men are having a Blair Witch moment thanks to Olivia.

Christmas Mailboxes

Lauren and Olivia each have a mailbox, which they decorated, for Aaron and I to leave special gifts for them. Poor Charlotte's is still in the wrapper. We were using it for the holidays but I think that we may use it throughout the year too. Our mailboxes are from Valentine's Day. Of course I found them on the clearance rack. The idea came from Emily Rose and her family. Her blog is Simply Vintage Girl. The actual post about the mailboxes was from last year. You can read it here. Maybe one day I will make mailboxes for them like Emily Rose and her family. I am not really sure how I found her blog but I do read it every week and I have been following her for a while now. Emily Rose takes beautiful photos and her sister Breezy is a fabulous artist. You should check out their blogs.

4 adults, 3 kids, 1 van and Christmas lights

We all piled into our van for the Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights. Aaron and I, mom and dad and all 3 kids in one van. It was close. I drove while Nanny (mom) sat in the front. Lauren and Olivia rotated sitting with her in the front. By the end the were both in the seat with her. Aaron was in the middle row with Charlotte. Poppy (dad) was in the back with Olivia. We had cookies and chocolate to munch on while we drove through the gardens. Want to see the craziness?

You know this was inevitable right? Changing a diaper in the van. Nice.

Friendship soup

Olivia's school had their annual Friendship Soup day and it did not disappoint. The soup was great (partly because all of the kids helped) and the muffins/desserts were delicious. The kids come in with their chosen pilgrim hat or indian hat. Miss Olivia was an indian this year.

2009 Christmas Card

This year for our Christmas card I took the kids outside on an unusually warm day for a few pictures. I really thought that with 3 kids I would be outside for a while or I would have to take pictures over a few days to get a decent photo. Well lo and behold I only took 5 pictures and one of them was wonderful!!

Charlotte was quite cooperative that day. She posed like a pro!

New outfit

For a couple of weeks Olivia did this everyday to her clothing. She is one hot chic!!

Joys of the sippy cup

Has it been long enough?

It is has been so long since I updated! Here is a little bit of what has been going on here at the Woody household.

Charlotte took her first "big girl bath". Oh the splashing that went on with 3 little girls in the tub together!

Lauren and Olivia like to help feed Charlotte sometimes. Really only when Charlotte will stay still. If she starts to move around a lot then the girls are done helping.

I was lucky enough to get to take 5 kids to Camp Calvin. Since it was Fall Break for the school system not many kids could go. Usually we have about 25 kids going. We heard great music from a local Griffin band called EverPrayer.

The keynote speaker for the weekend was Erica Funk from Broad Street Ministry in Philadelphia, PA. She was wonderful!! She is actually ordained so she is Rev. Funk which is just too cool.

Makings of a magical birthday party

The girls went to a friend's magical dress up birthday party this past weekend. The Vices really out did themselves. They made the swingset into a castle and a princess came to the party the read Cinderella to the kids.

Can you tell someone needed a nap?

You know the party was great when on the way home your little one falls asleep while wearing her ballerina costume and holding a piece of candy.

Lauren's first day of Kindergarten

Lauren started Kindergarten this year at Hillcrest. This is not a great picture of her but considering this was the one and only picture I took..it will have to do. She was so ready to go to school.

Olivia is the Birthday Girl!!

Can't believe Olivia is already 3!

I had so much fun making Olivia's pool cake. Lauren and Olivia were funny trying to decide which teddy grahams would get one-piece bathings suits and which ones would get a two piece.

Olivia is 3!!!

Olivia is 3 today!! We had a small family party for her at our house today. Her real birthday party is on Saturday. It is her Splish Splash Birthday Bash party. Can't wait!!

For her family party we made yellow cupcakes because yellow is her favorite color of course. She and Lauren ended up eating the frosting off of the cupcakes with a spoon.

When Olivia woke up this morning I told her get dressed and she informed me that she was going to wear her birthday girl shirt. It says "I'm the birthday girl".

Also we acquired a new friend. Dad brought him from work. Neither of the kids would pick him up. I figured they would like the rhinosaurus beetle but when dad went to get the little guy out of the box, the bug woud not let go of his hand so of course my dad shook his hand around and threw the box down. I thought it has bitten him but dad said his legs have these hairs on thier legs that grip. Kind of strange.. I know.

July 4th 2009

We had big plans for July 4th, but they did not work out too well. We did however have a wonderful low country boil at my parents house before the fireworks. The ate outside and had a great time. Charlotte slept a little in the pack-n-play and Lauren and Olivia had red fruit punch..can't you tell?

We had plans to go to a friends lake house and watch the fireworks. When we got there we realized that the hill down to the dock was very steep and while it was fine for walking down, it would not have been fine trying to come back up after the fireworks. Oh did I mention that we were pushing Charlotte in the stroller along with each adults chairs (4), chairs for Lauren and Olivia, 2 purses, 1 diaper bag and 1 bag for extra clothes, sunscreen, bug spray, drinks, snacks...etc. No it would not have been pretty coming back up the hill at night. So we ended up going to the boat ramp at the end of Glass Bridge Road. While it would have been nice to see the fireworks from the dock, we had much more entertainment at the boat ramp. We colored pictures while we waited for the festivities to begin.

Lauren also let me attempt to take a picture of her freckles. This is her serious look along with her fruit punch mustache.
