Car party with friends

Olivia went to her friend Tolan's 3 year birthday party. It was car themed and it was held at Ms. Pat' house (Tolan's grandmother for all non-Montesorri people). I don't know of one kid who does not love Ms. Pat. When she came out the front door all of the kids ran to her. She is so loved!

Mother's Day and ponies

Our local Hills and Dales opened its doors for free on Mother's Day weekend to families who brought in a picnic. They had ponies and games for the kids along with music. The girls had the best time visiting friends and of course riding the ponies.

What you don't hear in the picture below is Olivia laughing hysterically! She LOVED riding the pony. I think she laughed the entire time while she was on the horse.

Olivia thinks it is funny to have the wind blowing in her hair. I thought this picture was cute. She just stood there smiling letting the wind blow her hair.

Flicks on the Bricks

I took Lauren to our Flicks on the Bricks in town. They were showing Ratatouille. She danced and played while we were waiting for the movie to start. It was nice to be outside watching a movie while the breeze was blowing. I was surprised to see so few people there considering it was a free event in town. what a cute movie!

Handy Lauren

I took Lauren to the Home Depot Saturday class to build a wheelbarrow. She had the best time hammering in the nails. What a pro! For the record, in the first picture I had been holding the wood for her but I only let go for a second to get the picture. The kids get bright orange aprons and a pin for the project that they completed. They wear the apron for every class with all of their pins like they have badges of honor.
